My daddy used to tell me:

"Son, you got educated way beyond your intelligence and if you notice the certificates on the wall behind me, in the picture above, you will see my military certificates to the left, my degrees [two bachelors and two masters] in the center and my dean's honor list certificates [to the right]...So I guess he was right.


I am a Viet-Nam Vet, was a combat medic, operating room technician,, my biggest Viet-Nam accomplishment was that I had a very, very small part in helping to save a couple of lives, and because I repeatedly listened to my "little voice" I came back alive. The Doctors & Surgeons were the Real Heroes, such courage they displayed!

And oh yes, I saw the slow-motioned movie, more than once. [only other "Combat Experienced Vets" will understand these two previous statements]...

Right, C'pn Jeff? [one of my vet friends who I told I would put his name on my site].


I have been in sales since the summer of 1976. I have sold pharmaceuticals [Ob-Gyn therapeutics], Medical Electronic Diagnostic Instrumentation Systems [primarily Urodynamic and ElectroCardiogram types], Replacement Windows and Siding [yes, I was even a 'Tin-Man' for about 2-3 years and I set the company record for the longest period of time in a home-13.5 hours-Without Making A Sale! My ex-wife never believed that story, I guess that's why she became my ex-wife.

Because I was in sales for so long, and worked for companies like Holand-Rantos, Hewlett-Packard, Siemens, Zee Mecial, Life-Tech Systems-International, Thermal-Guard Replacement Windows, I have done a lot of traveling and consequently have become a Retired Road Warrior. I have travelled to Canada, Mexico, South America and was on my way to the middle-East, when I said:

"Enough of being a 'Professional' Road Warrior." Now I do all my travelling with my telephone, computer, internet, website, and email.


When I was in graduate school my favorite Marketing Professor gave us (3) points to remember, and besides the German I learned, I think this was the only thing I remember:

Don't be afraid to fail, remember this: Thomas Edison in his search for the perfect formula for the light bulb, found (8,000) different ways N-O-T to make it.

Keep Your Options Open and remember this, it's the guy that refuses to get up one more time [after being hit down], or hit the ball back over the net one time more than his opponent [I used to play tennis in my pre-Graves Disease Days]that can be truly identified as a "Failure-Quitter." I think the "Rocky Movies" taught us this.

Strive to make yourself a "Self-Generating Profit Center" ...hmmmm, what did he mean by that? We'll come back to that in a minute.

    Finally, and perhaps most importantly, a quote from the movie "SplashDance"...

    "Find out what your passion is, or what you can become passionate about, take that passion, and 'make it happen'."

    Now, let's go back to this "Self-Generating Profit Center Idea." I was called by a friend of mine, right after I got out of graduate school, to talk about a business opportunity. This was the first time I saw the MLM-Circles and after seeing them, I said to myself: "This is what the professor was talking about."

    But the summer of 1976 was before computers, fax machines, the internet, email, and all of the tools we have today. None-the-less, I subconsciously became a Student-of-the-Industry and have had experiences with Amyway, Herbalife, Pre-Paid Legal, Rexall, Excel, Video Email-Direct, and now [since June, 2005] Invisus.

    With Each Company I had a developed a little more experience in building an organization, learning about the kind of people attracted by these kinds of companies, and whether-or-not the products were actually better, and trying to understand these crazy, multi-faceted, compensation plans.

    One Day, I finally realized, its not the compensation plans that are important, its whether or not the products work, what is their customer retention rate, is anybody making money on customers or is recruitment the only way to make money; and lastly and most importantly, is anybody actually receiving a residual income check?

    But I hated hotel meetings [and the modern day version of the hotel meeting-the conference call]and hated "Playing Store." After my last company in 2000 [pre-paid-legal], I vowed not to join any more and began looking for a mail-order business.


    In the meantime, I divorced, worked for some Commercial Loan Brokers, sold oil-and-gas direct investments for almost (6) years,[where I really perfected my telephone skills], two years for a Mobile Office/Container Manufacturer and finally landed with my current employer a website redevelopment company. I hit the jackpot with my last company, for it was the kind of job I had been striving for, from the very beginning of my searches going all the way back to the early and mid 80's. Unfortunately, my ex-wife did not have the sustaining power and commitment to stay with me and enjoy the fruits of all of my years of preparation, blood, sweat, and tears.Sorry Gail, you lost again.


    Here is where the story ends:

    After vowing no more mlms, I was approached by a lady from Wisconsin, I will call her "Feisty-Bonnie-from-Wisconsin" who told me about a (15) year-old company that was positioning itself to enter the local telephone market.

    Eighteen months later, the company would fold. But I was motivated once again to make this "thing"called network marketing work; I later later that it wasn't network marketing that wasn't working, it was me.

    So, I began my search for a product that works with emphatic results, had a unique marketing-proposition, price advantage, or other uniqueness and wasn't just another "Me-Too" type of product.

    I had a false start with a video email type product and company, but then in January of 2005, Bonnie called me again.

    So here is what I do [in addition to my day-job]...
