All of the Support Techs Are Great, But I Have Gravitated To Chance McKinney
So,
When You Have a Computer Problem…
and You Call in to Norton,
McAfee,TrendMicro...etc.
Or one of the other "Brightly
Colored Shrink-Wrapped Boxes" at
one of your favorite "Geek Shops" do you get the
“real name” of the tech you are working with, and when you have
a problem, if you were to send an email stating your problem and the
approximate time you would be calling to him/her would your tech be "Watching Out And
Waiting For Your Call?"
Well, that’s
the kind of service I have…
When I have an issue I merely send
Chance an email of what my problem or issue is, the approximate time
I will call and what I need to have him do. Unless he is having an extraordinarily
busy day, he will normally be able to pick up when I call in, that’s the kind of
Customer Service I am willing for which I am willing to pay monthly, via a subscription service; and if you are
like me, when you have a problem, you want somebody to help you Right
Now, not maybe in 4 hours.
So,
do you have that kind of service with your current tech support company?
"What
I Really Like About Working with Chance (and a lot of the other INVISUS
Techs) is that...
- He is not
afraid to "Think Out of the Box"… in
fact, he told me that his creativity thinking and multi-faceted experience
was one of the reasons he was hired.
- Now,
don’t misunderstand me, I
have been an INVISUS customer since
January, 2005, and all
the other techs are equally capable, it’s just that Chance will help
me with some of the creative types of tools I have used in building
this website; in fact, he
even helped restart my “Goldmine 6.5”
CRM Program when it crashed and
I thought I had lost all my history and contacts for the last 7 years;
then, he recommended
I switch my office programs over to MSO 2007, helped me install them and even helped me when
I had some initial installation problems with Outlook’s
Business Contact Manager, and
has even helped me with a couple of problems I
had with Google’s
New Chrome Browser, even
showing me a couple of shortcuts and
“tricks.”
- In short, He
goes way beyond “Just addressing Security Issues” and like all other INVISUS Techs, he will spend as much time
as needed to identify the problem, resolve the problem, or tell me he
can't help me, as he told me
when my two Hard Drives crashed.
- But even
with hardware problems, he
told me what had happened, the kind of HD I needed to buy and then once
purchased, he
then helped me perform an installation over the telephone resulting in the fact that I have now installed
two new Hard Drives, improving my self confidence.
- He is
not afraid to try a new application,
learn about a new program, or spend Extra Time in order to complete
the repair issue.
- In short,
I used to call upon my tech colleagues at my day job, but I always felt I was
imposing upon their schedules,
and several times they were not able to help me in the way Chance has
helped. Additionally, I never knew what I should pay them and if I was
paying enough or too much. I
also used to panic about unplugging everything and taking it into my
local neighborhood Geek Shop not
knowing if they would really repair my problem, AND how much they would
charge me, even if they couldn’t help me.
- Now I
pay my $50 every month [for the top of the line
complete service subscription]
and have overcome my “initial shyness” about calling. Other than
replacing my hard drives and my DVD-CD ROM Drives, I
have not taken my machine to a computer repair shop in over (3) years, when I finally made the decision that I would
Totally Rely upon the service I pay for, and now – that’s what I
do!
- Oh, one
other item: My computer was purchased for me by my previous company
in December, 2005. Here’s
the kicker, because of my
INVISUS service my computer is now
operating BETTER THAN THE DAY I FIRST UNPACKED AND PLUGGED IT IN; this is all due to the service of INVISUS,
like I said earlier, it’s much
more than just another software package and
much more than just another Neighborhood Geek Shop. Oh yeah, I live in Texas and INVISUS
is located in Utah!
