I Don't Have Anything That The Hackers/Predators Would Want

Find Out If He is Right: Do You Have An Infected Computer?
Here Are Some Common Myths...Maybe You Have Heard Them Or Worse, Maybe You Believe These Myths…
Ask Yourself (Honestly) if you have been thinking any of these things, as you have been going through this site... - I don't have anything on my computer that the bad guys would want ...Whether you know it or not, YOU DO have personal information stored on your computer. If you have ever used your computer [even just once] to surf the Internet, you have plenty of information about yourself and your financial profile stored on your hard drive and this is how your credit and identity can be so easily stolen. Even if you still don't think you have anything of value on your computer, hackers really only want your computer for it's processing power and if you have a high speed connection, they especially want that too. They want to use your computer to send spam emails, to distribute pornography, and to attack other people. Therefore, Your Computer, if turned into a Zombie PC, becomes a weapon and a money making opportunity for hackers. Keep This in Mind even if you don't send the information, if traced back to your computer, you become liable for all losses that others experience because Y-O-U-R Computer did not have adequate protection; and people are in prison Right Now, because of and as a result of this issue.
- Off-the-Shelf Anti-Virus/Firewall Products are all that I need ...Anti-Virus/Firewall Products off the shelf alone are not enough to protect you against many types of hacker tools and other cyber-attacks Equally Important...These off-the-shelf programs do not provide you with the critical security patches for your computer software. What you really need is a Comprehensive Security Solution for your PC, accompanied by a Personal Internet Security Expert in Your Back Pocket that is "a telephone call away.” And if you have a problem who do you call? Will they guarantee to fix your problem? What will they charge? Will the problem return? These products are not designed to provide a Total Solution, but rather just a piece of a good over-all protection strategy. My Personal Security Experience/Story of my daughter's computer demonstrates this all too well...I bought my daughter, Megan, a brand new laptop for her high-school graduation and her entry into her pre-nursing program. The first (30) days, she had protection from the bright yellow box product and was into her second Free Protection Software when we "Just Took the Test." Even though her computer was only (45) days old, she already had (49) spyware programs, (1) Trojan, and most dangerously (1) key logger. We immediately put the Invisus Protection on her computer [I believe in our protection so much that I agreed to pay the monthly charge for her] and now she has been clean as a whistle, as long as she is doing her updates.
- The Free Security Programs that I can find online are enough…Oh Really? Well, let me now also tell you my son's personal computer story; he was using one of those Free Online Services [He was a poor college student-senior at the time] and his computer had been partially taken over...on the verge of being turned into a Zombie-Computer . He would turn his computer on and see his cursor moving around [without touching the computer]. In a panic, he called me and asked me what to do, since I had purchased his computer for him. I told him that we should "Just take the No-Charge Diagnostic Test" to see what his true status was. His computer was so infected we couldn't get it started. So we called my favorite technician at Invisus Support where there is never a charge for tech support and two-days later, he regained control of his computer. I told him we were putting Invisus on his computer and I would pay for it. Now, the only time he has problems is when he doesn't do his updates. Fr33 Product Summary..."Fr33" feels good to the wallet until your privacy and security have been breached and your identity has been stolen. Please Remember This, Fr33 Security Programs are Limited Versions or Evaluation Copies of the software. If you want real "Big-Boy" protection, you are going to have to pay for it!
- I am on a secured network, so I am protected ...Small business and home networks do nothing to prevent attacks via emails, web surfing, instant messenger programs, file sharing programs, wireless (WI-FI) access points, and more. The problem is that the Network Security DOES help shield the network itself, but doesn't do much to lock down each PC on the network. Another huge problem with network security is "Insider Hacking". Any one computer on a network can be used easily to hack into another computer on the network. Network security systems also lack the ability to stop random outgoing connections from any one computer on the network. Here is the bottom line...Your network security system must be able to protect your computer at the desktop level with a desktop firewall and intrusion detection system. Therefore, every individual computer must be protected separately! By securing each computer on the network individually you gain a critical layer of protection that is fundamental to a solid security strategy.
- My High-Speed Modem/Router has a built-in Firewall-so, I am safe ...Those routers and modems must open up specific ports in order to allow computers behind those devices to connect to the Internet. Once a computer is connected to the Internet-through one of these devices-that computer is “OUTSIDE” the protected network and then can be attacked and infected. More importantly, High-Speed Modems do absolutely nothing to protect you against spyware and hacker tool infections, or against viruses and worms.
- My Internet Service Provider Keeps me safe ...Internet Service Providers (ISPs) do very little to protect your individual desktop computer, period!
- The Government will do something about it ...The U.S. government recently created the Cyber-Security Division of the Department of Homeland Security, evidencing that the government sees the massive problems with Internet Security. The government recommendation is that: "Every Internet user must become a 'Responsible Cyber-Citizen' and that it is up to each person to figure out how to best protect themselves." I will [on another page] describe your six or seven different options...
- My PC Manufacturer will take care of my security needs…PC manufacturers are not in the internet security business and are often themselves, the targets of the most hostile and vicious attacks and have their hands full just protecting themselves. They do not provide comprehensive security on their new computers, and they do not have trained experts waiting to help you when you have a security problem. Some PC manufacturers now offer very limited help with virus or spyware infections-but Customers have to pay a very steep price for each incident; and unfortunately-in today's environment, you will also likely end up speaking with a technician from India or some other “off-shore” location, when you are looking for help from these big manufacturers. This is not the kind of security service you need to protect your privacy and not the kind of security service support you receive from our company.
